Irene 'Teenie' Pierson
MILFORD - On July 3, 2022, Irene "Teenie" Pierson, peacefully passed away at Milford Place.
She was born on August 14, 1939, in Milford, DE to the late Anthony and Matilda Brown.
Mrs. Pierson was a graduate from Harrington High School, class of 1957.
She worked as Secretary at Milford High School for many years.
Irene was member of The Preceptor Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Mrs. Pierson and her husband for over 15 years, enjoyed making crafts for craft shows. She also enjoyed traveling, skiing, gardening, and loved to play Scrabble.
Irene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edgar S. Pierson. She is also survived by her sons, Kenneth E. Pierson and his wife Susan, Doug Pierson and his wife Marsha, Todd Pierson and his wife Kim; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her sister, Mary "Noop" Pippin and her husband Billy; and her brother, Tom Brown.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday 7/17, with a memorial service at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the Harrington Senior Center, 102 Fleming St., Harrington, DE 19952.
