Irene L. Pernol, 92DOVER, DE - Mrs. Pernol died peacefully surrounded by family on January 27, 2023 at Cadia Capitol Healthcare in Dover, DE from complications with Parkinson's Disease. While at Cadia she often made the staff laugh at other times she was feisty. Irene was born on December 11, 1930 in Marydel, DE, the daughter of Fred & Eva Teat.
She leaves behind two daughters, Violet (Ron) Bauer of Smyrna and Sharon (Bill) Taylor of Felton; her grandson, Edward Truax of Milford; and granddaughter, Kyla (Nick) Griffin of Idaho; her great grandchildren, Tyla Truax of Dover and Aiden Griffin of Idaho; her siblings, Bernice, Thelma & Francis; a half-brother, Lloyd; extended family and friends.
Memorial Service Saturday, February 4, 2023, 1 pm at Barratt's Chapel, 6362 Bay Rd., Frederica, DE 19946
