FELTON - Hubert J. Brogan, Jr. passed away, Tuesday, Jun. 6, 2017, at home.
Mr. Brogan was born Nov. 26, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Hubert J. Brogan, Sr. and Edith Troup Brogan.
He worked as a local truck driver, specializing in Hazmat deliveries. He had a perfect driving record his entire life. Mr. Brogan enjoyed golfing, and especially watching their family golf tournaments.
Mr. Brogan is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jonatha Thompson Brogan, of Felton; sons, Joseph Brogan (Shannon), of Levittown, Pa. and Jeffrey Brogan (Nancy), of Naples, Fla.; stepchildren, John Mell, of Ocean City, Md., Tracy Ford, of Felton and Tammy Swiggett (Bill), of Downs Chapel; siblings, Dorothy Dougherty (Dennis), of Walkerville, Md., Mary McDevitt (Bob), of Bowers Beach, Edith Lafoente (Nelson), of Ohio, Michael Brogan (Barbara), of Camden, Kevin Brogan (DeLia), of Hadenfield, N.J., Suzie Amey (Michael), of Florida, James Brogan (Rita), of Fallington, Pa. and Lisa Quarles (John), of Frederick, Md.; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Jun. 17, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
