Howard Glenn Minner,
DOVER, DE - Howard Glenn Minner passed away in the comfort of his home Friday December 30, 2022. Glenn was born on August 7, 1944 in Goldsboro, MD and raised on the family farm in Sandtown, DE by his parents, the late Myrtle Minner (Shulties) and Thomas Leslie Minner.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances Elizabeth Minner (Carney). They enjoyed driving through the country spotting deer, getting ice cream and eating crabs. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Thomas "Junior" Minner, John Wayne Minner and Edith M. Stanislawski.
He retired from Playtex/Edgewell after over 40 years of employment. Glenn's hobbies and interests included deer hunting, Nascar, tending his vegetable garden and taking care of his cats.
Glenn is survived by his son, Orville Carney; niece, Victoria Thanos and her husband Teddy; nephews, Eddie and Michael Summerlin; lifelong friend and brother, Franky Shahan and wife Wanda; and a host of family and friends.
