Howard 'Larry' Corkran Larrimore Jr., 65
SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Howard "Larry" Corkran Larrimore Jr., of Sudlersville, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008. He was 65.
He was born April 19, 1942, in Island Creek, Church Hill, to the late Howard C. and Laura Jenkins Larrimore Sr.
Mr. Larrimore, a lifetime resident of the area, worked as a truck driver most of his life.
He worked for Dunben Butler of Twin Walnut Farm, Barclay, for Maryland State Roads out of Centreville, and for J. Lawrence Nicholson of Chestertown.
In addition, he would work as a part-time auctioneer for Col. Ross Rhodes of Church Hill.
Mr. Larrimore was a past member of Church Hill Volunteer Fire Co.
He enjoyed tractor pulls, shuffleboard, cutting grass, country music and being with his family.
Mr. Larrimore is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Pinder Larrimore; two sons, William Dale Larrimore and his wife Judy, and Howard Douglas Larrimore and friend Jennifer Kozur, all of Church Hill; a brother, Donald Lee Larrimore and his wife Rowena of Greensboro; two sisters, Mary Katherine Butler of Barclay, and Wendy Mitchell and husband Gordon of Church Hill; and three granddaughters, Shelby Larrimore, Shannon Larrimore, and Kayla Larrimore.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in from Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
