Henry Thompson Niehaus

Niehaus, Sr., 68 EASTON-Henry Thompson Niehaus, Sr., passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 with his loving wife by his side. He was born on January 3, 1947 in Neptune, New Jersey, the son of the late Jeannette R. Thompson Niehaus and Ludwig C. Niehaus, Jr. Mr. Niehaus graduated from Centreville High School, class of 1966. On October 27, 2001 he married Patricia L. Jordan; friend, caregiver, and the love of his life. They lived in Federalsburg and later Easton, MD. After the death of his parents, Mr. Niehaus continued to farm in Ruthsburg with his brother, Raymond, until the time of his massive stroke. Mr. Niehaus was a forgotten life time member of the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company. He worked in Millsboro Delaware for EJM Trucking. He loved spending time with his grandchildren both at home, on vacation, or at the farm. He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Jordan Niehaus, five sons; Henry (Tom) Niehaus, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Edgewood, Michael R. Jordan, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Queenstown, Richard Niehaus of Henderson, Christopher J. Jordan, Sr. and his wife (caregiver) Leanne of Easton, and William (Billy) Niehaus and his wife, Shelly of Hurlock; fifteen grandchildren, Allen Niehaus and his wife Erin of Chestertown, Mariya Niehaus and her fiancé, Armando Lopez, of Fredericksburg, Va., Bethany Niehaus and Joey Niehaus of Hurlock, Chastity Jordan, Shelby Simpkins, Alexis Jordan, Nathan Simpkins, Christopher Jordan, Jr., Britney Jordan of Easton, Ryleigh Jordan, Michael (Gage) Jordan, Kaeden Jordan of Queenstown, Rita Westerman and Arron Westerman of Edgewood; three great-grandchildren; Devaurye Courney and Trynyty Lopez of Fredericksburg, Va., and Hannah Niehaus of Chestertown; one brother, Raymond C. Niehaus and his wife Cindy of Hartley, Del.; and a very special friend James (Fuzzy) Edwards. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2 PM at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S.
