Henry Minner, 75

DOVER - Henry Minner of Dover died peacefully Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in his home. He was 75.

Mr. Minner was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Philadelphia, to the late Edward S. and Myrtle (Wampole) Minner.

He was a resident of Dover for more then 20 years.

Mr. Minner enjoyed working at Food Lion, Shuckers Pier 13, Denney"s and other restaurants in the Dover area. He also was employed by Scott Paper Co. and K.S.I., where he was employee of the year in 1985 and alumni of the year in 1986.

He was known for his great smile and friendly conversations. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people. He also loved his Rat Terrier, "Skeeter"

Mr. Minner leaves behind numerous loving friends, especially his caretaker of many years, Patricia Bishop.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
