Helen N. Snyder

MILTON - Helen N. Snyder, of Milton, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, in Silver Lake Center. She was 88. Helen was born in Binghamton, N.Y. Helen was a bookkeeper and had played the organ for Wesley U.M. Church, in Georgetown, for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Beatrice (Heverly) Platner; and her husband, Frank Snyder, in 1974. She is survived by her brother, Carl Platner of Dagsboro; and her extended family in Delaware and New York. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after noon. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. Contributions in Helen's memory can be made to Wesley U.M. Church, 102 E. Laurel Street, Georgetown, DE 19947.
