Helen M. Thomas, 86 WILMINGTON - Helen M. Thomas, wife of the late Joseph H. Thomas Jr., departed this life Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in St. Francis Hospital, after a short illness. She was 86. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Felicia Thomas Cornelious (W. Oscar); one nephew; two nieces, other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn Self-Tokley and Elmer Tokley and a brother, C. Dupont Harris. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., today, in Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market St., Wilmington, with viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. only. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
