Helen M. Peters (nee Boguslaw) died peacefully in her Rehoboth Beach home on Thursday, March 9, 2022.
The daughter of Peter and Anna Boguslaw (nee Swedock) was born in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania, on February 11, 1927.
Ms. Peters lived a full and vital life tending her plants and garden and sharing stories and laughter well into her 90s.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas "Pete" Peters. The couple taught Sunday School together for many years. They are remembered by many persons for their business, Pete and Helen's Baseball Card Shop in downtown Dover in the 1970s and 1980s, the area's first sports memorabilia store.
Throughout her life, Ms. Peters held to two constants – her Christian faith and pride in her Polish heritage.
She is survived by her four sons, Frank Fantini and wife Alice Stark of Cape Coral, Florida, Ermond "Ernie" Fantini of Rehobeth Beach, Kenneth Fantini of Hallandale Beach, Florida, Ray Fantini and wife Susan of Eden, Maryland; brother, Frank Boguslaw and wife Darla of Montoursville, Pennsylvania; brother, Walter Boguslaw of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; sisters, Agnes Shery of Georgetown, Massachusetts and Marie Kreischer of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Melody Peters of Camden; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, Del. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will be held at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 220 Continental Dr., Ste 407, Newark, DE 19713 or Seaford Church of the Nazarene, 520 S. Dual Highway, Seaford, DE 19973.
