Helen Howe Hearn, 81

LAUREL - Helen Howe Hearn of Laurel, formerly of Bridgeville, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was 81.

Mrs. Hearn was born in Seaford, daughter of the late Clara Belle Truitt and Henry Cleveland Hastings.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hearn was a member of the Broadcreek Baptist Church in Delmar.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Stokes Hearn in 2000; and two sisters, Pauline M. Short and Rachel Oliphant.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Wayne Hastings of Laurel; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Seaford.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
