Helen F. O"Connor, 93
SMYRNA - Helen F. O"Connor of Smyrna passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, in the presence of her loving daughters. She was 93.
Mrs. O"Connor was born July 26, 1914, in Huntersville, Pa., the daughter of the late John Houghton and Laura Miller.
She worked all her life until she retired to Frederica.
Mrs. O"Connor worked at Grants Department Store and Cardorama Gift Shop in Dover.
She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Sherman R. Barner and Robert Elliott.
Mrs. O"Connor is survived by three daughters, Margie Seyler and her husband, Harold of Muncy, Pa., Dorothy J. Barner, with whom she lived of Smyrna, and Beatrice Elliot of Howey In The Hills, Fla.; and a sister, Sophie Watts of Benton, Pa.
She will be buried at Pleasant Hills Cemetery in Hughsville, Pa. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 5610 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors, Inc., 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
