CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Heidi Marie Wheat of Chestertown died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown. She was 19.

Heidi was born on Feb. 24, 1988, daughter of Louis W. and Elizabeth A. Fahrman Wheat of Chestertown.

She was a lifetime resident of Kent County and was a 2006 graduate of Kent County High School.

She continued her education attending Washington College.

Heidi worked at Tailgate Market in Millington, Md.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was an altar server, C. Henry Price American Legion Auxiliary and the National Honor Society. In the summer of 2003 she traveled to Europe serving as an ambassador for People to People.

Heidi enjoyed reading, writing, bowling, friends, and dreaming of Colorado with Catherine.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William Fahrman; and her paternal grandparents, Elwood and Grace Wheat.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her dear friend, Marcos Gonzales of Chestertown; two sisters, Carrie Ann Wheat and her fiancé Joe Allen of Indiana, and Deanna Sherman and her husband Doug and nephew Zachary of Millington; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth L. Fahrman of Chestertown; three uncles, George Fahrman and his wife Heidi of Betterton, Joseph P. Fahrman and David P. Fahrman both of Crumpton; aunt, Jane Fahrman of Galena; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial Christian Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Chestertown, where friends may call one hour prior.

Burial will be held privately.

Memorials may be offered to the Kent & Queen Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 126, Chestertown, MD 21620.
