FREDERICA - Heather A. Dodenhoff formerly of Easton, Mass., passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. Heather was born May 29, 1969 in Stoughton, Mass. to Paul Dodenhoff and the late Dorothy Fox Dodenhoff. She was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School "Class of 1987". She had a soft spot for kittens and the color purple. Heather was an avid reader and liked scary movies and enjoyed spending time with her family. Heather recently moved back to Delaware with her father-in-law, Charles A. Cole, Jr. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Smith. She is survived by her father, Paul Dodenhoff; grandmother, Edith Dodenhoff; brother, Scott Dodenhoff; sisters, April Dodenhoff and Patricia Dolloff and her husband John; brother-in-law, Robert Smith; step brother, Patrick Rooney and his wife Julie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Frederica Volunteer Fire Department, Frederica, DE 19946. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
