Harvey M. Seeney, 55

CLAYTON - Harvey M. Seeney of Clayton died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at the University of Pennsylvania. He was 55.

Mr. Seeney was born May 25, 1952, in Wilmington, son of Frank M. Seeney and Dorothy (Coomes) Seeney.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Seeney worked for 21 years as an equipment operator for the Delaware Department of Transportation.

He was a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post 2, Dover, and the Legion Riders Motorcycle Club.

Mr. Seeney enjoyed watching drag races, riding his Harley Davidson and being with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Seeney of Clayton; two sons, Harvey Seeney Jr. and Harley Seeney, both of Hartly; his brother, Ritchie Seeney of Clayton; his sister, Susan Schuh and her husband Scott of Barratt's Chapel; two grandchildren, Destiny Seeney and Harvey Seeney III; his favorite two nieces, Casey Dunning and Amber Keeler; and his nephew, Ryan Seeney.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4950 Pearsons Corner Road, Dover. Friends may call two hours prior.

Interment will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
