Harry Lee Trammell

SEAFORD - Harry Lee Trammell, 71, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He was born April 5, 1939, in Seaford, to the late George W. and Florence P. Trammell. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis Savage Trammell; two sons, Cornelius A. Trammell (Carolyn) of Seaford, Gregory L. Trammell (Tonya) of Salisbury, Md.; three sisters, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Teagle (Robert), Pearl V. Trammell, and Florence Alicia "Lisa" Cephas, all of Seaford; two brothers, Larry and Wayne (Denise) Trammell of Seaford; one granddaughter, Shannon Payton (Carlos) of Bridgeville; one grandson, Devon Trammell of Salisbury, Md.; and one great-grandson, Uriah Payton of Bridgeville. Harry was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Trammell; two brothers, Paul and George Trammell; and one sister, Flora Trammell Batson. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Catherine Camper Complex, Laurel. Friends may call on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Calvary A. M. E. Church, Concord. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford.
