NEW CASTLE - Harry F. "Duck" "Bud" Cavender Jr., 89, of New Castle, passed away on Aug. 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Catherine "Kitty" Cavender; two sons, Harry F. Cavender III, and Douglas Cavender and his wife Melissa; a daughter, Donna Cavender; and a granddaughter, Devon. Graveside and services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, at Bethel Cemetery, 312 Bethel Cemetery Road, Chesapeake City, Md. A memorial service will also be 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 8, at St. Georges United Methodist Church, 109 N. Broad Street, St. Georges. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Georges United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 145, St. Georges, DE 19733-0145; or to a favorite charity. www.daniels-hutchison.com
