Gregory Keith 'Stealth' Johnson, 51 CAMDEN - Gregory Keith "Stealth" Johnson, 51, of Camden, went to be with the Lord midmorning on Feb. 5, 2010, at The Delaware Veterans Hospice Center, a very beautiful place full of solace and serenity for Greg as well as the family. He was born on Nov. 3, 1957, in Portsmouth Va., Portsmouth Naval Hospital, to the late Jeanette E. Johnson and William Henry Johnson. Gregory was educated in his hometown of Norfolk, Va., at Lake Taylor Senior High School then to college at Virginia Weslyn, Norfolk, Va., where he studied and mastered Commercial Art. Greg loved to draw, paint and making things with his hands perfecting his craft. Gregory then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on December 1, 1981-1994 where his duty of 15 years in communications was awarded with many plaques and certificates. After a brief break from the military Greg decided he would reenlist to endure what he loved, education and his military lifestyle, totaling 30 years until early 2009 when he retired, all while attending school to become an educator of mathematics. Greg was also a member of American Legion Post 2 in Dover. Gregory was a loving son, brother, uncle and father who will be deeply missed by family and friends. Gregory leaves to cherish his memory his only son, Jared Alexander Johnson of Camden; Jared's mother, Delia Johnson of Hawaii; four sisters, Yvonne Backus, Theresa Gill (Ronnie), Jeanette Johnson, all of Norfolk, Va., Audra Thompson (Eric) of Mississippi; three brothers, Russell Arrington, Tony Johnson (Vanisha), and Grandison Johnson, all of Norfolk, Va. He was predeceased by two brothers, George Arrington, and Rod Arrington; and one sister, Denise P. Johnson. A host of nieces and nephews and family and many friends that include his military family who at his time of need stood steadfast with their brother when his health began to fail also survive. The family would like to thank special friends Garrett Brown, Linda Lynn, Marcus Giles, James, Jackson and Rashida Wilson for all of your works, love and expressions of kindness during our time of sadness. To The Delaware Hospice Center, We can't thank you enough for the care that you gave and the concerns you provided the family. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour before service.
