Smyrna - With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Gregory Joseph MacDonald who died on Apr. 13, 2015. He was preceded by his oldest son, Lawrence and infant son, Gregory. He was the loving husband of 65 years to Elizabeth "Betty"; loving father to Joseph (Linda), Colleen (Jim), Trish, Karen, Pauline, John, and Judy (Dan); grandfather to eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and became a successful Owner, Driver and Trainer in the Standardbred Racing Industry. He will be truly and deeply missed. An open house visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sat., Apr. 18th at the family home at 4318 Wheatleys Pond Road in Smyrna.
