CORDOVA, Md. - Gregory Alexander Webb of Cordova passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in the Easton Memorial Hospital, Easton.
Born on Sept. 7, 1955, in Easton, he was the son of the late Wilmer "Mickey" Magee and Frances Webb. He was 51.
He was educated in the Caroline County public schools, and graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1973. Greg was employed as a tractor-trailer driver, retiring from R.L. Ewing Trucking in 2003 due to illness.
He was married to Veronica (Warner) Webb on Feb. 14, 1997.
He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Longwood, where he was a member of the United Methodist Men. Greg enjoyed going to church when he was able to go.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Veronica Webb of Cordova; one daughter, Lynette Webb, and one son, Gregory Webb, both of Easton; two stepsons, Walton Warner and Michael Johnson; his mother, Frances Webb of Seaford; his mother-in-law, Helen Milbourne of Cordova; two grandchildren, Nytara Chester and Marissa Hampton; five step-grandchildren, Daesha Warner, Mya Johnson, Leonah Johnson, Jayla Johnson and Logan Warner; three sisters, Rosetta Brown (David) of Hurlock, Vanessa Magee of Seaford, and Wanda Ward (Alfonza) of Seaford; six brothers, Anthony Magee (Tina) of Salisbury, Charles Webb Sr. (Veronica) of Seaford, William Webb of Delmar, and Keith Tramell of Seaford; three aunts, Alfreda Holland of Preston, Beatrice Craft of Federalsburg, and Bertha Ann Kellum of Bridgeville; three uncles, Carlton Magee of Dover, Charles Webb of Grasonville, and Dennis Webb of Preston; four great-aunts, Edna Nichols, Carrie Jones, Lottie Friend, all of Preston, and Margaret Beulah of Federalsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing will be held this evening from 7 to 9 at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 426 E. Dover St., Easton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bethlehem.
