Bridgeville - Grace L. Ash passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. Born Jan. 23, 1922 in Bridgeville to the late Leroy and Lillian Harris Moore. Grace worked at HP Cannon in Bridgeville, Malco Products in Milford, Seaford Woolworth Store for 25 years, and as of last week at Seaford Public Health where she has been for 29 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, reading her bible, watching TV evangelists, and being around and helping people especially children. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman I. Ash in 1967, and a brother, Melvin H. Moore. She is survived by a daughter, Lillian A. and (Richard) Huston of Seaford; and a son, Lawrence C. Ash Sr. of Bridgeville; a nephew, that they raised Benjamin and (Patricia) Moore of Ft. Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren, Chrystal and (James) Willey of Seaford, Angela and (Brian) Howard of Seaford, Lawrence and (Susan) Ash Jr of Ocean View, and LT Col Phillip and (Denise) Ash of San Clemente, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren Joshua and Jared Willey, Angie, Lawrence III, James, and Adam Ash, Megan, Daniel, and Arron Howard, Kristin and Sydney Ash; many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, Del. 19950. Friends and family may call from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
