PRESTON, Md. - Grace Ann Bailey passed away on Monday, March 12, 2007, at the home of her son in Preston. She was 91.
She was born Jan. 22, 1916, in Sharptown, Md., the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Hastings Dickerson.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eldorado-Brookview Fire Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Bailey, Feb. 14, 1967; three brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James R. Bailey and Janet, of Preston, a granddaughter, Susan B. Ortega and her husband, John, of Rhodesdale, Md.; two great-grandchildren, Danielle Ortega of Salisbury, Md. and Lance Cpl. Matthew Ortega stationed at New Orleans; a sister, Ruth Murray of Laurel; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Framptom Funeral Home. P.A. in Federalsburg with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery, Preston.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday 1-2 p.m.
