Georgetown - Glennie Bee Willey of Winchester, Va., formerly of Georgetown, Del. died on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at her home. She was born in Whiteville, N.C., the daughter of Henry Owen and Alice Lewis Duboise and adopted daughter of Daniel and Addie Williamson. She was raised in North Carolina and moved to Delaware in 1940. She was a chicken farmer for over 40 years and retired in April 1983. Gennie Bee was the devoted wife of Atles Ryan Wiley, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter Pandora; and her son, V. Lloyd Willey; a twin sister, Glennie Lee Messick; a sister, Lula Batten and brother, Bert Duboise. Glennie leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Virginia Lee Smith Wright; grandson, Thomas R. Smith; granddaughter, Theresa Joy Triggs and husband, Eric; granddaughter, Tammy Tisher and husband, Mark of Milton, Del., grandson, David Smith and wife, Angie of Winchester, Va., granddaughters, Carla and husband Tom of Virginia Beach, Laura Nelson of Scottsdale, Az., ten great-grandchildren, two youngest being Gage and Mikayla Triggs of Winchester, Va. and eight great-great-grandchildren, many special nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown, DE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W.
