GREENWOOD - Glenn C. Miller, Sr. passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018, suddenly at his home.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1930 in Masontown, W.Va. to the late Frederick and Anna Jackson Miller.
Glenn proudly served in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Sgt. Major in 1969 after 21 years of service.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing as his hobbies. He was always with his constant companion "Stevie" his beloved poodle.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Miller; and a son, Glenn Miller Jr.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley and Cindy Miller; three grandchildren, Glenn III, Jeffrey Sr., and Ola Cohen; a great-grandson, Jeffrey Jr.; a sister, Effie Rogers; and a brother, Clarence Miller.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950, with a visitation one hour prior to services.
Interment will be at St. Johnstown Cemetery, in Greenwood.
Arrangements are by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
