MILFORD - Glenn A. Long passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 26, 2021.
Mr. Long was born in Erwin, W. Virginia to the late Aubert and Edna (Sypolt) Long. Glenn was an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years and also worked for Baltimore AirCoil. He was a faithful member and deacon at Milford First Baptist Church and drove a bus for Milford Christian School.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Malloy) Long; son, Patrick Long; and foster daughter, Tracy Lindale.
He is survived by his daughters, Glenda and Al Kennedy, Violet and Danny Simmons, Donna and Doug Stamper, and Ellen and John Kramlich; foster son, Tim and Sue Lindale; ten grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Milford, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, DE 19963. Interment will follow at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton. All those attending the church and graveside service please wear a mask at the request of the family and adhere to social distancing and gathering protocols.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glenn's memory may be made to: First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, DE 19963.
