BRIDGEVILLE - Gladys V. Shade, 81, of Bridgeville, formerly of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Shade, Sr. She was the loving mother of five children. The grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many. She is deeply loved and will be sadly missed. A funeral service will be Monday, Oct. 25, at 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Millsboro, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
