Faulkner, 95 DENTON, Md. - Gladys Bowen Faulkner, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Envoy of Denton Health Care. Born near Templeville, Md. on November 3, 1916, Gladys was the daughter of the late John W. Faulkner, Sr. and Nora Tingle Faulkner. She was a 1935 graduate of Greensboro High School and moved to Denton after graduation. Gladys worked as assistant manager of Universal Dairy Products at the corner of 6th and Gay Streets in Denton. She was then a bookkeeper for Nuttle Lumber Company in Denton and then, for 15 years, at Economy Printing in Easton. She retired in the late 1980's. She was a past member of the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW). She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Miss Faulkner is survived by her nephews, Larry W. Faulkner of Sudlersville, Md., and Jay M. Faulkner and his daughters Katie and Kerri, of Newark, Del; and her sister-in-law, Betty Faulkner of Sudlersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John W. Faulkner, Jr. in 1998; and her sister, Betty Jane Faulkner in 2005. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
