MILFORD - Gladys B. Dutton, 104, of Milford, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Milford Center. Gladys was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Ola Lee (Moody) Burlingame. She worked in the cafeteria for the Milford School District for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Milford where she served as deacon, was a Sunday school teacher, a church group leader and a member of the Women's Association. She was also a member of the home demonstration club. Gladys enjoyed gardening but most important to her was her family, who she loved and cared for deeply. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Dutton in 1989; her grandson, Roger Charles Tinsman; four sisters, Della Nickerson, Louise Bogan, Mary Connelly, and Mildred Vinyard; and three brothers, Harvey Burlingame, Lafayette Burlingame and Edgar Burlingame. She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Lindale and her husband Clifford, of Milford and Barbara Blaesing and her husband Gary, of Adrian, Mich.; one sister, Ruth Georgiou, of Dunedin, Fla.; one brother, Charles Burlingame, of Seaford; two grandchildren, Melanie Rinkenberg and her husband Steve and Gregory Tinsman and his wife Donna; seven great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Friends of the Library for the Blind, 121 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd North, Dover, DE 19901.
