Giovanni Tru Curtis, 9 days old GEORGETOWN - Giovanni Tru Curtis, 9 days old, passed away, Feb. 15, 2010, at A.I. Dupont Childrens Hospital, Wilmington. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-great-grandmother, Marie Pierce; and paternal great-grandparents, Rosalie Corse and James Charles. He is survived by his mother, Jessica Renee Charles and father Gawain Curtis; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Kris Charles; god mother and aunt, Chelsea Charles; five aunts and uncles, Dustin and Wyatt Charles, Britney and Shanele Curtis and Michelle Sturgis; a maternal great-grandmother, Gaye Palmer and her husband Lemuel; maternal grandparents, Fotina and Harold Johnson and Gawain Johnson; and a great-grandmother, Evelyn Johnson; and two half brothers, Gawain Jr. and Guwuan Curtis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market Street, Georgetown, where a visitation will be one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Ronald McDonald House, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19034; or AI Dupont Children's Hospital, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
