Gerald Eric Bramble, 40

WILMINGTON - Gerald Eric Bramble of Wilmington died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 40.

Mr. Bramble was born Sept. 7, 1966, in Dover, son of Janice (Reiter) Bramble and the late Gerald Rothburn Bramble.

He attended the John G. Leach school and, every summer, he attended Camp Manito. He also was a participant in the Easter Seals Program.

He loved listening to his police scanner and radio. He was very interested in watching cars being fixed and worked on. He also enjoyed going to the beach.

He is survived by his mother and her companion, Janice Bramble and Ted Braun; a sister, Pam Chambers of Middletown; a brother, Clayton Gerald Bramble of Wilmington; three nieces, Melissa Chambers and Allison Chambers, both of Middletown, and Karyn Anderson of Newark; and a nephew, Richard Chambers of Middletown.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, Md., where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery, Millington.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, Inc., 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
