FELTON - George L. Everett, Jr. passed away at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018.
George graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1977. He worked for the State of Delaware as an auto-mechanic for 34 years. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing, truck-ins, all different genres of music, and was considered by many an all-around nice guy.
He was preceded in death by his father, George E. Everett, Sr.; and his son, Mark Everett.
George is survived by his wife, Virginia (Coleman) Everett; mother, Elvira (Pombo) Everett; daughter, Melanie Everett of Camden-Wyoming; two step-children, William Latham of Dover, and Christina Latham of Rock Hall, Md.; step-sister, Susan Molano; half-sister, Connie Ridgway; and six grandchildren, Samantha, Christian, Alexis, Jasmine, Liam and Mackenzie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton. Friends may call after 11 a.m. for a time of visitation. Interment will be held at Sudlersville Cemetery.
