George Edward 'Pete' Holmes Jr., 69

EASTON, Md. - George Edward "Pete" Holmes Jr. of Easton died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in Memorial Hospital, Easton. He was 69.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Holmes; his mother, Mildred Lewis of Easton; three children and their spouses, Doretha and Larry Bordley of Preston, Georgetta and Marco Camacho of Trappe and George III and Connie (Turner) Holmes of Preston; five grandchildren, Natasha Holmes, Larry Bordley Jr., Jamar Holmes, Marco Camacho Jr. and Roberto Camacho; five siblings and their spouses, Theodore Jr. and Debbie Lewis of Easton, Levi Lewis of Easton, Elsie Holmes of Federalsburg, Delores Holmes of Denton, Theola Lewis of Easton, Barbara (Holmes) and David Roland and Georgia Holmes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Union Baptist Church, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will follow in Sandtown Cemetery, Ridgely.

Arrangements by Henry Funeral Home, Cambridge.
