OCEAN VIEW - George A. Woods, age 85, of Ocean View, formerly of Temple Hills, Md., passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010. George was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 25, 1925. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annie in 1982. He is survived by his daughter, Anna and her fiancé Joel Cather of Ridge, Md.; and his brother, Harry Woods and his wife Mary of Scotland. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on West Avenue in Ocean View, where friends and family may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
