Geneva Depew

Greenwood - Geneva Depew passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at her home surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. Mrs. Depew was born in Bridgeville to the late Watson David and Mabel Moore.
Mrs. Depew worked at LD Caulk for over 16 years.
In her younger days, Mrs. Depew loved to bowl and bowled on a league. She enjoyed watching television, especially her game shows Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right, doing seek and find puzzle books, and getting her hair done on Fridays. She enjoyed going to church and was a member of the Pilgrim Chapel of Harrington.
Mrs. Depew was known for her straight to the point attitude. She would tell you what was on her mind, and did not sugar coat it. She ran a tight household and always kept her bills straight, and kept her family straight as well. She will be remembered as a great mother, wife, and grandmother, and will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. "Grant" Depew; son, Larry Depew; brother, Archie Moore; and a sister, Catherine Pearson.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Cheryl Depew; daughters and son-in-law, Pamela A. and Jaime Tijerino, Charlene Depew; brothers, Robert Moore, Allen Moore; six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Services will take place at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 1 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will take place Thursday evening, July 19, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
