HARRINGTON - Gary L. Graves, of Harrington, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008, in Providence, R.I. He was 65.
Born in Brattleboro, Vt., he was a resident of Burlington County, N.J., for more than 30 years and moved to Harrington last year.
Gary was retired from Amtrak as director of production for 31 years and was currently employed as a consultant with HTNB in Philadelphia.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion.
Gary loved his family, his dogs and the beach.
He was always ready and willing to help his family, friends, and others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Marion Niles Graves; and a brother, Clinton Graves.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen F. Ristow Graves of Harrington; a son, Christopher Graves of Moorestown, N.J.; daughters Amy Graves of Voorhees, N.J., and Beth Graves of Woodbury, N.J.; granddaughters, Allyson and Devan; a brother, Bryan Graves of Freehold, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, N.J.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Armed Forces Veterans Homes Foundation, 5211 Auth Road, Suitland, MD 20746.
