Garry L. Davis

LINCOLN - Garry L. Davis, 78 of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. He is the son of the late Frank and Grace Jester Davis. He worked at Delmarva Power as a lineman prior to retirement. He served in the US Army Special Forces Green Beret for two Vietnam tours. He was a member of the Milford Moose Lodge # 2316, belonged to the Vietnam Motor Cycle Club, and enjoyed repairing and using ham radios. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Faith Short-Davis; and four daughters, Renee, Shelby Griffey, Connie Evans, and Jessica Dewey; two sons, Garry Lee Davis and Steve Rawding; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Milford Moose Lodge, 20142 Beaver Dam Road, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, Delaware 19963, to help defray funeral cost.
