HARRINGTON - G. Dale Sullivan, died at home on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012. He was born in Milford, Del. to parents, Sarah and George L. Sullivan. After working a short time on the family farm, he worked at Stones Hotel in Harrington, then 34 years at the Dupont Plant in Seaford, he worked in his mom's business, the Bridle Bit during that same time, after his retirement he became a Sgt. of Arms at Legislative Hall in Dover for two years. He was a member of Prospect Church, Harrington Moose Lodge, Harrington Senior Center, Harrington Alumni Association, Harrington Little League Assoc., and the Fox Hunters Club; He was an avid rabbit hunter. He served his country for four years in the Air Force. He is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jackie; a daughter, Valerie O'Bryan and her husband Robert of Harrington; two sons, Patrick Sullivan and his wife Linda, of Harrington, and William Taylor and his wife Marlene of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Jeffery and Jessica Sullivan, Michael Taylor, and Shelly Muise; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may visit from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday Aug. 20, 2012 at, Prospect Methodist Church . Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Prospect Methodist Church in Vernon, Internment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prospect Church, P.O. Box 342, Harrington, DE. 19952, or Harrington Senior Center, 102 Fleming Street, Harrington, DE. 19952. Arrangements by Price Funeral Home, Harrington.
