Frederick Adams

Frederick Adams, 91

SMYRNA - Frederick Adams of Smyrna, formerly of Edison and Toms River, N.J., died Saturday, March 31, 2007, in Green Valley Pavilion, Smyrna. He was 91.

Mr. Adams was born April 23, 1915, in Jersey City, N.J.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Adams worked for American Cyanamid in Bound Brook, N.J., as a sheet metal worker.

He was an avid New York Mets baseball fan, and in his youth played baseball.

Mr. Adams loved working around the house and was very handy. One of his accomplishments was building a kitchen - right down to the cabinets.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Bonanno, in 1996.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edythe (Feaster) Adams; two daughters, Karen Slack of Smyrna and Bonnie Eastwick of Dover; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
