MILFORD, Del. - Frank Portalatin passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Frank was born in Far Rockaway, Queens, N.Y. where he was a resident for the majority of his life. He was the son of the late Irving and Lydia Portalatin. On August 15, 1983, he became husband to Michelle Portalatin.
Frank was a hard worker, was adventurous and was never scared to try new things. He was a music lover, and was also a DJ, with his Anthem song being "Return of the MAC ". He was a talented freehand artist and also worked as a manager in the food industry. His favorite hobbies were fishing and drawing with his daughter. Frank had a great sense of humor and a personality that would light up a room. He was a great listener and would give you a realistic, respectful answer about life. He had an unrelenting love for life, his family and for people, and was always willing to give someone a helping hand. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Portalatin.
In addition to his wife; Frank is survived by two daughters, Katrina Portalatin & Sheena Portalatin; two brothers, Irving Portalatin Jr. and Richard Portalatin; two sisters, Lena Rivera and Debra Portalatin; was an uncle to 11 nephews and nieces, Ricky, Nicholas, Johnathan, Nathaniel, Joellen, Angelina, Christina, Stephanie, Jessica, Margarita, Lydia; as well as a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Frank's Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE 19963.
