Frank Knotts

DOVER - Frank Knotts of Dover, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born June 22, 1926 in Greensboro, Md., to the late Arlie & Lida (Pearson) Knotts. Frank was a farmer all of his life, and had worked for Shady Brook Farms, for over 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed watching anything sports related on T.V., especially Nascar, his favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt , Sr. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Knotts Thomson. Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edrie(Cohee) Knotts; a son, Frank Knotts; a sister, Betty Shelties; two brothers, Paul & Elwood Knotts; sister-in-law- Ruth Knotts; six grandchildren & seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
