Frank E. Murray, 83 WILMINGTON - Frank E. Murray, of Wilmington and Jupiter, Fla., passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, in Faulk Manor Nursing Home. He was 83. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Frank H. and Carmela (Estevez) Murray. He was a Quality Control Manager for Scott Paper Company and retired in 1982 after 30 years service. Mr. Murray served his country during WWII and enjoyed reading and swimming, but mostly he loved spending time with his four daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and in 1991, his loving wife, Mildred M. (King) Murray. Mr. Murray is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Frances V. McNett and Michael of Kent, Wash., Mary Louise Harrington and Ron, of Wilmington, Rita Capodanno and Fred, of Cape May Courthouse, N.J. and Pamela Thompson and James, also of Wilmington; five grandchildren, David Harrington, Ron Harrington, Heather Thompson, Reed Ledbetter and Laurel Griffin and two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Hannah. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown. A graveside funeral service will immediately follow in Hebron Cemetery, Seashore Highway, Georgetown. Flowers are accepted or contributions can be made to VITAS Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
