SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Frank Biddle Morris of Sudlersville died in his home Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007. He was 77.
Mr. Morris was born near Millington, son of the late Clarence and Addie (Biddle) Morris.
Mr. Morris enjoyed farming and construction until he retired in 1979 from the Glenn Wheeler Construction Co., Millersville.
Mr. Morris loved to hunt and trap and especially enjoyed fishing the early season perch run in the upper reaches of the Chester River and its streams. He also enjoyed gardening and tinkering around the house. For many years he enjoyed raising hogs and the annual harvesting and preparing all the meats for family and friends. Mr. Morris enjoyed giving his grandchildren rides on the old John Deere tractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles "Sonny" Timms in 1983; six brothers; and a sister.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Josephine Y. Morris; two daughters, Judy Lord of Cheswold, Del., and Debora Leager of Sudlersville; two sons, Louis Donald Timms of Millington and Richard Timms of Sudlersville; a brother, Robert Morris of Ingleside; and five sisters, Elizabeth Green of Chestertown, Evelyn Roe of Church Hill, Anna Mae Roe of Chestertown, Addie Morris of Chestertown and Jane Morris of Elkton.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Fellows Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, where friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
