MACUNGIE, Pa. - Frank A. Levitski of Macungie, formerly of Millsboro, Del., died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 86.
He was the husband of the late Anne (Olszewski) Levitski.
Born in Mocanaqua, Frank was the son of the late George and Helen (Zaleski) Lewicki.
He was employed with Scott Paper for many years before retiring.
Frank was a first lieutenant with the 300th Combat Engineers in World War II, landing in Normandy and seeing action in the European Campaign.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7447 in Rehoboth Beach and a longtime member of the American Legion. He was also a Third Degree Knight of Columbus and a volunteer at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
Frank is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Georgiane and Rick Venish of Middletown, Del., and Yvonne and Greg McNulty of Macungie; his brothers, John of Forty Fort and Paul of Berwick; a sister, Helen Klem of Wilkes-Barre; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Levitski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. today in St. Ann"s Catholic Church, Emmaus, where friends may call beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Allentown.
