MILTON - Francisco Ruiz, age 87, of Milton, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, in his home. He was preceded in death by a son, Francisco Joel Lopez; and grandson, Fernando Wong. Francisco retired several years ago from King Cole Canning Co. Francisco is survived by his wife, Marcella Lopez Ruiz; four children, Maria R. Wong, Martha D. Lopez, Domingo Martinez and Mario A. Lopez; two grandchildren, Michelle Wong and Alejandro Garcia; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after noon. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
