Florence Taylor

Florence Taylor, 75

LEWES - Florence Taylor of Lewes departed this life Friday, March 2, 2007, in Harbor health Care, Lewes. She was 75.

Ms. Taylor was born Nov. 16, 1931, daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Taylor.

She attended public schools in Accomac, Va., until she moved to Selbyville.

She was preceded in death by several of her siblings.

She is survived by a sister and a brother-in-law, Madge and Rev. Charles Dennis of Ellendale; a brother, Ernest Taylor Jr. of Salisbury, Md.; two nieces, Esther Taylor of Patterson, N.J., and Diane Jones of Bowie, Md.; a nephew, Joe Custis of Frankford; four cousins, Dorothy Davis of Baltimore, Daisey Fletcher, Juanita Hamilton and Ruth Davis, all of Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be noon today in Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Ellendale, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Mount Zion A.M.E. Church cemetery.
