DENTON,MD - Florence J. Cronshaw of Denton, Md., died on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Homestead Manor in Denton. Mrs. Cronshaw was born on Oct. 10, 1919 in Queen Anne, Md. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Pinder Eaton. She attended Marvin Memorial United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She loved activities in and for her church community. She was a resident of Barclay, Md. for over 65 years until her retirement. Mrs. Cronshaw enjoyed cooking, and sharing with those that needed help. For many years she enjoyed working and helping on the family farm. She loved reading and needlepointing. Mrs. Cronshaw is survived by her daughters, Janet Holloway and husband Gary of Laurel, Del., Phyllis Cannon of Sudlersville, Md., and Joyce Faulkner of Dover, Del.; her brother, James Eaton of Denton, Md.; her sisters, Velma Breeding of Bridgeville, Del., and Anna Mae Walls of Ridgely, Md.; her grandchildren, Gregory Hopkins, Sheryl Hopkins and Ashley Brooks; her great-grandson, Mark Hopkins; her step-great-granddaughters, Angela and Ashley Pappas; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband of 50 years, George Henry Cronshaw, she was predeceased by her siblings. Preston Eaton, Austin Eaton, Hopkins Eaton, Paul Eaton, Russell Eaton, Percy "Pete" Eaton, Edna Palmatory and Brena Morris. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home Millington, MD where relatives and friends may call from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Sudlersville Cemetery.
