Florence G. Kelley, 94

DOVER - Florence G. Kelley, of Dover, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Courtland Manor Nursing Home. She was 94. Mrs. Kelley was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Worcester, Mass., to the late Joel and Cora Mae LaCroix. She married William J. Kelley on June 9, 1934. She was employed for many years at the Erving Paper Mill in Erving, Mass., and for 18 years for General Foods in Dover. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1996; her son, William R. Kelley in 1986; grandson, Daniel J. Lewis in 2004; and granddaughter, Pamela J. Hurd in 2008. She is survived by daughters, Marion Lewis and her husband Dick, D. Sharron Lawson and her husband Larry, all of Felton, and Susan Conk of Smyrna; daughter-in-law, Shirley Kelley of Athol, Mass.; grandchildren, Michael Lewis, Janice Whitney, Sonya Evans, Mark, Steven, Jennifer and Derek Lawson, Timothy, Jeffrey and Christopher Conk, Cathy White, Diane Billingham, Eileen Cote and Michael Kelley; great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Kelli Evans, Rebecca Lawson, Stephen and Rachel Hurd, Andrew and Ashleigh Lewis, Cameron Lawson, Jonathan and Amanda Whitney, Heather Plotkin, Jason and Nicholas Kimball, Elizabeth Bouchard, Geoffrey and Amanda Billingham, Megan and Sarah Cote; and great-great-grandchildren, Tyler and Alissa Plotkin, and Aviana Bouchard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
