Faye E. Baynard-Reed, 45

BEAR - Faye E. Baynard-Reed of Bear peacefully joined the Lord Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was 45.

She was born May 11, 1962, to Richard "PeeWee" Baynard and Hilda Thomas.

Faye was raised by the Powell-Thomas and Martinez families, also embraced by the Pratt and Reed families.

She enjoyed spending her time with her children, grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Faye loved to cook, watch sci-fi, action and horror movies, and play video games.

Her personality was so full of life and fight that she will truly be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Carl Reed; her children, Demetrius Baynard, Darneshia Baynard, Deja Baynard-Watson and Carl Rhoades; one precious granddaughter, Aquaziah Baynard; a devoted son-in-law, Jamar Watson; sister, Angela Burns of Louisiana; and a host of brothers, sisters, and other family members, some of whom she did not have the pleasure of meeting.

The viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. at Lee-Haven United Methodist Church, 413 Blackbird Landing Road, Townsend.

Arrangements by Minus Funeral Home.
