Evelyn O. McCool

DOVER - Evelyn O. McCool, of Dover, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Silver Lake Center. She was 100. Mrs. McCool was born July 3, 1916 in Little Creek, to the late Harry and Emma Haggerty. She worked for many years as a Private Duty Nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram S. McCool, in 1996. Mrs. McCool is survived by three sons, Daniel McCool and wife Charlotte of Elkton, Md., Ronald McCool and wife Helen of Georgetown, and Michael McCool of Claymont; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Pwy., New Castle, DE 19720. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
