Evelyn Frances 'Fran' Clark (Meding), 92
HARRINGTON - Evelyn Frances "Fran" Clark (Meding) died January 2, 2023 at her home.
Fran was born June 1, 1930 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Paul and Adele Meding.
Besides her parents and stepmother, Nell Meding, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Meding, Jr. and her husband of 54 years, Daniel E. Clark, Jr. The matriarch of a loving family, she is survived by daughters, Brenda Maczis (Gary) and Lisa Slater (Wayne); grandchildren, Garrett Slater, Rachel Shahan (Dustin), Matthew Slater (Montana), Rebecca Gunnerson (David), Amanda Batson (Sean) and Kaitlyn Slater; great grandchildren, Caroline Weidlein, Mason Weidlein, Waylon Slater, Noah Gunnerson, Emma Batson and Elliott Batson; sister, Madelyn Hurley; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Meding.
The family will be forever grateful for the love and care given by her caretakers: Charmonica Mitchell and Retie Campbell.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Bethany Church of the Brethren in Farmington at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery in Frederica. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Church of the Brethren, where Fran was a member for over 55 years, at 91 School Street Farmington, DE 19950.
